Bidadari has been an emerging estate, located at our doorstop, with ongoing construction work and hundreds of households moving in over the next few years. From mid-November to end of 2021, we will be coming together to learn more about the Bidadari community surrounding Calvary Baptist Church and praying for it’s people, in a decentralised prayer walk.
How does it work?
COVID-19 has meant that we are limited in out physical interactions. Yet, we can still be part of a loving church community that fellowships and prays for those around us.
Below, you will find materials that will guide you as you participate in the prayer walk:
Download the prayer guide to familiarise with the walk and prayer content, and form pairs/groups to participate with friends in church, within your CGs or as ministry groups
Book, commit and pray at one (or more!) timeslot over the next 1.5 months with your partner/group - with help from the guide.
*Note: Please adhere to prevailing safe distancing measures should you be heading down physically to pray

To get started, click ‘download the prayer guide’ above to access the PDF document that provides details on Bidadari, with instructions for praying in a pair/group (subject to prevailing safe distancing measures) while walking or driving in the estate. General prayer pointers are also available as we continually pray and seek God for His direction and blessing in the neighborhood.
To embark on the prayer walk, click ‘book, commit & pray’ above to reserve a 2-hour slot in your Google calendar*. In a pair/group, use the prayer guide and participate in the walk at your reserved time slot. You may also pray with the pointers remotely.
*A Google account is required to reserve the slot - should you face difficulties in booking, please contact bidadari@calvary.org.sg to have your slot booked.
Prayer slots are spaced out to stagger praying over the next 1.5 months and spread out visits to Bidadari.

After participating in the walk, click ‘share your reflections’ above to input your post-walk thoughts and view the reflections of others. You’re invited to share prayer pointers, observations or thoughts with other Calvarians - as we spur each other on and persevere in prayer for the community.
