About C3 Day

C3 Day is a special day that CBC sets aside every year to celebrate the founding of Calvary Community Care (C3), to spotlight its programs, to raise awareness of its needs, and to rally support for its mission amongst Calvarians.

This Year’s Theme: “Not Done Yet”

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” - Galatians 6:9 (ESV)

The theme of “Not Done Yet” was chosen to highlight that CBC’s work of blessing the community, through C3, is not done yet.

Galatians 6:9 is a verse that inspires this year’s organizing committee. When the apostle Paul wrote this verse, it is likely that he had in mind how discouraging it can be to continue doing what is right without seeing any tangible results. As such, he challenged the Christians living in Galatia to not give up, to keep on doing good, and to trust God for the results.

This year’s organizing committee hopes to challenge Christians to start or continue being involved with C3 even if the “results” have not met one’s expectations. An unchanging truth is that Gospel is proclaimed not only with words but also with works. Through our continued efforts to serve and bless those who are needy, we can expect many more people to know and love Jesus through those who serve with C3.

This Year’s C3 Day

For C3 Day this year, all of the booths and activities are centered around the actions of “Pray, Give, Go” — our call to action as followers of Christ. Come, join in the work!
