Through the change in timings and shortening of the interval time in between the two services,

• We hope to encourage more interaction of Calvarians in between services.

• Our ministry volunteers can have a shorter day of service, especially when they stay through both services.

• Calvarians can have a later start on Sunday morning, and an earlier release for lunch!

CBC originally held services at 9.00am and 11.00am. However, our earlier reasons for shifting to 8.45am and 11.15am has lapsed.

• Since COVID, we have shortened our worship services (and we plan to keep at that!). However this makes the duration between services much longer, as a larger Calvary community, we want to change this!

• We used to have separate worship teams serve the two services, and more time was needed for a new team to come in for sound checks and warm ups after the earlier service. This is currently not needed as one worship team plays for both services.

• Parking has become less of an issue, with more neighbourhood parking spaces now available in the Bidadari estate. The church shuttle bus which runs along Potong Pasir is also not yet at capacity, and we may increase rounds, if needed.

We recognise that this is one of the key areas of concern: the smooth inflow and outflow of cars for both services.

Here are some ways to better facilitate our limited parking spaces:

• For Calvarians who are staying for the duration of both services (for example, those attending worship service and serving in ministry, or attending CBClasses), we would appreciate it if you could double park!

• In cases where you might be blocking another car, leave your contact number on the dashboard so that we may contact you, if needed.

• Park around the Sennett Estate where legally permitted.

• Park at Bidadari and take a short stroll over. You can also park at Potong Pasir and take the shuttle bus in.

• Arrange carpool arrangements with fellow Calvarians, either from your own housing areas or Potong Pasir.

As we transit to these new timings, we seek the support of Calvarians and encourage everyone to exercise patience and forbearance for one another while we sort out these teething issues. :)

The shuttle bus will pick up at Potong Pasir MRT Exit A at these timings:

• 8.15am - 8.55am

• 10.15am - 10.55am

• 12.15pm - 12.45pm

We will be closely monitoring the capacity of the shuttle bus service, and are open to increasing rounds especially during peak timings.

Volunteers can check directly with your ministry heads for updates specific to your ministry.
